It’s an exciting annual event when the Mpls.St.Paul Magazine opens its polls for the Twin Cities Best of Business! On average, approximately 10 percent of practicing dentists in the 10-county Twin Cities metro area obtain this list recognition. Each Dental practitioner undergoes a multi-step evaluation process before obtaining a nomination.The award process starts when the Mpls.St.Paul Magazine invites Twin Cities’ metro dentists to nominate other dentists whom they deem to be exceptional as field-peers. They are encouraged to take the position of evaluating who they would consult if they were personally seeking dental care.
There are multiple medical specialties awarded; each is evaluated by numerous factors, including (partial list) peer acknowledgment, professional achievements in their medical niche, reviews, and personal history. Dentists who accrue the highest scores from each respective grouping are sent an invitation to serve on a blue-ribbon panel to assess the other candidates.
To complete the process, the Mpls.St.Paul Magazine chooses the Top Dentists, selecting only the leading dental professionals who attained the maximum point totals accumulated from the Top Dentist Ballot, surveys, research, and blue-ribbon panel review.
