Rochester, NY, June 14, 2019 — Mad Coast Clothing will release a line of all organic cotton baby clothesin July of 2019. Featuring USA Made, 100% organic cotton, and some RPET(recycled polyethylene terephtalate) t-shirts and onesies.
Mad Coast Clothing is proud to launch their new organic line of baby and toddler clothing. By offering organic cotton clothing for children, parents can be sure that there are no pesticides used in the production of these materials. Organic cotton is sustainably grown, and farmed without insecticides, pesticides, & chemical fertilizers. Therefore, organic cotton is not harsh on new baby skin and is less irritating. Their new organic line provides our parents a way to give back to the environment as well.
RPET clothing is an environmentally friendly blend that is made up of recycled polyester, recycled plastic and organic cotton. The new Mad Coast RPET items use 90% less water to make and helps to reduce some of the millions of plastic bottles that are thrown away.
Reduce, reuse, recycle.The new eco-friendly line allows parents to not only dress their child in cotton that limits your baby’s exposure to potentially harmful chemicals but helps to combat climate change by using less energy and preserving water resources. And of course, eco-friendly options that are trendy to dress your baby in.
As a bi-coastal apparel company, Mad Coast Clothing is well aware of our current climate issues, specifically waste and chemicals in our waters. Living on the Pacific Ocean and Lake Ontario, anything they can do to reduce plastic trash in local waters is a step in the right direction.
Co-Owner Mandy Newell says, “we are extremely excited for the launch of our organic line this summer. We will start with our top selling designs and slowly release new designs all on organic cotton. We want to be a part of the future eco-friendly businesses!”
“I like to try and buy organic whenever possible, so I’m happy that we’re able to have this as an option now. Clothing has been viewed as so disposable and we’re looking to bring quality pieces that can be used over and over and passed down again and again,” added Co-Owner Liz Lewin.

Mad Coast Clothing is a women owned company founded in 2017 by two moms who wanted to see their kids in fun comfy clothes without spending a fortune. There are a lot of generic and corny kids gear out there and we want to portray our love of the outdoors, adventure, travel, funny vibes through our children’s clothing store. We like our toddlers and babies to wear shirts that we would. We also want to have a local presence in our communities of Santa Cruz and Rochester (there are limited options of Rochester themed baby clothes, especially organic baby clothes and t-shirts!) We want to create designs that can be worn by families that are also on trend and cool.
