City Tattoo Removal is a well established and popular London based tattoo removal clinic. On their site PicoSure say their machines are better than the Q-Switched lasers which were previously considered the gold standard in laser Tattoo removal. PicoSure say their technology is better because it produces ultra-short pulses of light (one trillionth of a second in length), the shorter light pulses hit the ink particles with greater pressure so the ink shatters into “tiny dust-like particles”. The ink particles created with PicoSure are smaller than those created with the Q-Switched lasers so can be more readily eliminated from the body.
PicoSure say their technology can produce better results and require less overall treatments than a Q-Switched laser. City Tattoo Removal are expecting delivery of their new machine within the next couple of weeks. Besides the gold standard in laser tattoo removal the clinic all ready offers many treatments such as the optibeam and Homogenizer, most other tattoo removal clinics do not offer these.
