The fourth annual Bikers in Need (The Bin) Foundation’s Benefit Ride kicks off on Saturday, April 4, 2015, and Sinclair Law is pleased to be an ongoing supporter of the event for the past four years running.
The Bikers in Need Foundation was founded by “Bear” Conaway to help raise awareness, and provide food and necessities, for those Brevard County biker families in need. This not-for-profit organization holds numerous events throughout the year in support of their cause that is designed to help the biker community of Brevard County,
This Brevard County Sheriffs Office escorted ride begins in the parking lot of the Eastern Florida State College campus before wending its way to its terminus at the American Legion Post 117 in Palm’s Bay, Florida.
The event features great music, tasty food, 50/50, raffles, and so much more. Attendance cost include $5 and a nonperishable food item to help restock the organization’s food pantry.
Sinclair Law’s involvement with the event arose from the firm’s friendship with “Bear” Conaway’s prior to “Bear’s” death to cancer.
“It was Bears lifelong dream to provide food and basic necessities to area families in need,” said Brad Sinclair. “It is nice to see bikers from all walks of life come and support a worthy cause.”
Since Bear’s passing, the foundation has been under the stewardship of Bear’s widow, Ellen, who has continued the mission of the group in his memory.
In support of the worthy cause, Sinclair Law maintains a booth and distributes event specific koozies, as well as donating money to the group’s efforts.
“As one of the biggest events of the year that we support, we are looking forward to distributing koozies to the event attendees, and the live music will be a lot of fun for all of us who are there,” said Sinclair.
