These "kits" are special backpacks filled by volunteers. They contain practical items that help families (the kids and their parents) during a hospital stay.
The Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children’s Cancer’s goal is to provide hope and comfort to the families of kids with cancer throughout their hospital stays and thereafter. They help families in Santa Clarita, California, as well as the surrounding area. The non-profit has already assisted more than 500 families and continues to provide its support every day financially and emotionally.
The Little Sleepy Head pillows are a perfect fit for the Kare Kits, as they are designed to be the ideal size for toddlers and small children. They were created by a parent of two boys for the purpose of overcoming sleep struggles. The pillows are 100% hypoallergenic and are made from 200 thread count cotton fabric which contains premium polyester cluster fiber fill that conforms to each child.
