This personal development course is for individuals who desire to improve their leadership styles, even more useful their leverage in the workplace.

Berry Beautiful: Self Confidence sets its main focus on various attributes that can be found in what Maya Angelou describes as a “Phenomenal Woman.” She refers to a phenomenal woman as a woman-like any other regardless of creed, the color of skin, ethnicity, or even nationality. A phenomenal woman takes the lemon out of life and makes lemonade out of it. One of the factors that set these kind of women apart is that when others see obstacles, they see opportunities. These women approach life with a unique kind of energy and zeal in a way that many would not master the courage to do. Phenomenal women face their fears and accept womanhood with pride.

Lisa Rone has a background of in-depth knowledge for business marketing. When asked about why she wrote the book, Rone said: “I was compelled to write this book for those who lacked self-confidence. I wanted to share my insight with others who may need a boost in their spirit. I deemed it necessary to apply Abraham Maslow’s self-actualization chart to help reinforce my points further. Collectively, I knew this idea would allow me to connect the dots and serve my audience with impact.”

Rone has hopes that her personal development course will help individuals to increase assertiveness, work ethics, and effective communication. Leadership is such a mysterious process, as well as one that touches everyone’s life. With the right tools one is best able to rise-up to any occasion rather than be undistinguished. Lisa shall remain hopeful as she continues to document her news worthy accomplishments, build her following, and survey the masses. This positive roadmap from the author is certainly a testament to her optimism considering some of the mishaps during her writing process. She would go on to reflect on the writing process. At one point, there were several mishaps when writing this case study.

For example, she goes on record to say: “I didn’t know how the African-American community would feel about my research findings… Real talk, a study by the University of Oxford, showed that women with big butts are smarter and healthier.” She goes on to say, that: “The females perspective in the workplace needs a voice so, my job is to share the good-stuff.” Then, she expresses the stress of defining due diligence linked to the masses. She states: “I already know what I’m capable of and it’s hard to put all your trust in the next man because they don’t share the same level of work-ethics. Really, some of my peers won’t read a book or get up at 5:00 AM after burning the midnight oil.” Rone goes on to say: “In many cases, people believe what they are saying is the most important part of a conversation when in fact, the ability to listen is the most significant part of a dialogue.

In a recent interview, the author made a point of thanking the strong-women in her family for their specialized role. She refers to them as the original social media influencers. She said her family keeps her grounded and community-focused.
