LaserCare Eye Center Launches Updated Website

LaserCare Eye Center is pleased to announce the launch of their comprehensive website for 2019. The team of Ophthalmologists and Optometrists are dedicated to providing the full breadth of eye care for all the patient's vision needs under one roof. Three types of vision examinations are available, as well as surgical procedures which resolve the most common conditions which negatively impact the quality of vision. These exam categories include the comprehensive eye exam; the vision exam; and the contact lens exam.

The Comprehensive Eye Examination includes dilation and is a complete check of both the front and back of the eye. It is intended to establish good eye health and detect early indications of eye disease. The examination is provided by one of the Doctors of Optometry or Ophthalmology. The Vision Examination is a less detailed assessment of the front of the eye and does not include dilation. It is intended to check the vision and provide a prescription for glasses. The Doctors of Optometry provide this service.

The Contact Lens Exam is similar to the vision assessment. It is limited to the front of the eye and does not include dilation. A Comprehensive Eye Exam is required at least every year. The Contact Lens Assessment is performed by one of the Doctors of Optometry.

A spokesperson for the Center explained, "We specialize in both medical and surgical treatments of the eye. Some of the conditions which we address include Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, Dry Eye Syndrome, and Macular Degeneration. We offer many lens implant options for cataract surgery and are one of the few clinics in Dallas offering Laser Cataract Surgery. Our vision correction surgical procedures include SMILE Eye Surgery, LASIK, PRK and Implantable Collamar Lens (ICL). Laser Vision Correction involves the use of cool laser to improve vision. The latest technology is available at our facilities."
