And while an attractive kitchen sink that also fights germs for you may seem like a far-fetched idea, this was the driving principle behind the design process for the DexTM Series expansion. All Dex sinks are made with T304Plus, a proprietary stainless steel blend enhanced with naturally antimicrobial copper ions, found by third-party testing to kill up to 99.9% of bacteria that touches the sink surface. To ensure the ultimate level of clean, a gently sloped sink bottom promotes complete drainage, eliminating standing water and further preventing bacterial growth.
