New Website Aims to Help Parents Find Appropriate Methods for Teaching Kids at Home
Lansing, Michigan (October 8, 2014) – KidsAreMyLife, anorganization dedicated to helping parents find the best approach for teachingtheir preschool-aged kids basic skills such as reading and arithmetic, recentlyannounced the launching of its new website, KidsAreMyLife.com.
“It really pleases us to get our site online,” saysJennifer Brown, spokesperson for KidsAreMyLife.com. “We want to giveparents out there options for helping their children learn what they need tolearn before they start formal education.”
According to Brown, their organization firmly believes inthe value of giving children an early start in their learning. An early start,she claims, makes children better equipped and prepared for shaping their livesahead. Brown additionally says KidsAreMyLife believes parents should be theones mainly responsible for steering their kids towards this early start.
“It has always been the role of parents to teach theirkids the basic skills they need,” states Brown. “Children oftenbecome lost without their parents to guide them.”
The KidsAreMyLife.com website offers resources on teachingkids how to read through the use of phonics. It also contains articlesdiscussing methods on helping children learn math skills, boost creativity andconcentration, and even picking up a second language.
Brown, however, emphasizes that their website is not aresource for homeschooling.
“Homeschooling is a choice parents make for theirkids,” she says. “We’re not here to extol the benefits or thedisadvantages of homeschooling. But if homeschooling parents find our resourceshelpful to teaching their kids, they’re welcome to use them.”
KidsAreMyLife.com is a website devoted to helping parentsfind effective ways to teaching their children how to read quickly and skillfully through the use of phonics.
The site is also a resource on methods and aids for helpingchildren boost their creativity, logic and mathematical abilities.
