The Realty Investment Club of Houston is excited to have Kevin Smith share his expertise in home inspections with its members and nonmembers. Kevin is a Texas Real Estate Commission Professional. He has over 25 years experience rehabbing and inspecting single and multifamily residential properties. He recently assembled articles he has written for the investment club over the last 15 years and the wisdom and experience gained rehabbing and inspecting properties for 25 years into a book: “What Investors Need to Know About Houston Houses.”Kevin Smith is extremely qualified to speak on this subject. He has over 30 years experience in single-family residential repair, rehab and inspection; has been a RICH member since 1990 and currently is a board member; taught a Mr. Fixit Workshop for Investors for five years; is a frequent speaker and teacher in inspection, rehab and related real estate topics; is a rehab consultant for new and experienced investors; and is a former hands-on rehab contractor and real estate investor himself. He has first-hand experience and knows the ropes.
The Realty Investment Club of Houston, established in 1979, is a non-profit trade association serving the real estate investment community of the greater Houston area. RICH is the largest real estate investor association in the country. Its goal is to promote sensible real estate investments and responsible property and project management while promoting sound, ethical business practices.
