After the recent successful launch of their ‘Comfort Dentistry’ program, Southridge Dental stated that this new partnership with AAS means that they can now offer safe, efficient, on-site full sedation for patients when required. Their range of services includes: general family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and oral appliance for sleep apnea and snoring.
Non-conscious sedation, also known as general anesthesia, is a loss of consciousness caused by the administering of anesthesia drugs, rendering the dental patient unable to be aroused into a conscious state during the dental procedure.
With the launch of this new program, patients who suffer from severe dental anxiety have the benefit of a board certified anesthesiologist at Southridge Dental, meaning that dental work can be completed without experiencing significant discomfort or panic attacks.
