K & K Industries today announced that it has enhanced its laser cutting services in Washington State and the Pacific Northwest byadding a 3rd manufacturing shift.

K & K has the trained manufacturing personnel on all three shifts and can now cut metal parts out of aluminum, stainless steel, andcarbon steel with remarkable precision on a 24 hour basis. State-of-the-arttechnology makes its lasers extremely versatile tools for flexible just-in-timeproduction needs.

TheK&K lasers used to provide these laser cutting services have beenfine-tuned to efficiently and smoothly cut up to a thickness of 1.0” for mildsteel, 0.5” for stainless steel, and 0.5” for aluminum resulting in minimumparts handling downstream of the cutting operations.

The K & K’s Cincinnati Lasers employ rugged constructionwith fabricated plate steel frames that are twice as heavy as other types oflaser cutting systems.  The accuracy ofits CNC laser exceeds most metal cutting requirements and ensures unmatchedpart quality.

The Dynamic Power Control accurately matches the requiredlaser power to the desired feed rate for better edge condition and higher partaccuracy.   This allows machine or systemcomponents to be manufactured without expensive tooling or significant set-uptime and expense.  Thus, customers saveeven more money because the cut edges of the parts do not require additionalfinishing.

This combination makes K & K a great cost-effectivealternative to traditional metal cutting vendors using older technologiesserving the Seattle manufacturing community and the Pacific Northwest Markets.

Pacific Northwest based K&K Industries has grown tobecome the largest laser, router cutting, and metal forming job shop betweenEverett, WA and Vancouver, BC.   Since itwas founded in 2004, K&K has earned the reputation of unsurpassed customerservice through its consistent focus on quality, efficiency, and timelyproduction.    K & K producescomponents for an incredibly diverse range of manufactured products sold aroundthe world from tiny gears to massive ferry parts.  K & K can be contacted by calling (360)756-9700 or visiting the company’s website at:  Laser Cutting Services Washington
