Jonathan Drouin Named Top Prospect in Hockey’s Future’s ranking of the Top 50 NHL prospects

The top website for NHL and NHL Draft prospect information, Hockey's Future, announced its ranking of the Top 50 NHL prospects as determined by its prospect ranking committee.


Strict qualifications were required for high placement in this ranking of the Top NHL prospects. Hockey’s Future evaluated multiple criteria in order to narrow the field to the best 50 prospects for hockey fans and fantasy hockey players. Among the highest ranked prospects are:


#1 Jonathan Drouin - The top-ranked NHL prospect according to HF, Drouin has recently competed in his first NHL games for the Tampa Bay Lightning and has produced at a point-per-game pace


#2 Aleksander Barkov - Barkov was rated as the top NHL prospect in the Spring rankings and is still very much a top prospect in the league and for the Florida Panthers


#3 Evgeny Kuznetsov -  The Washington Capitals’ prospect was ranked as the top prospect in a previous edition of this Top 50 list, and he has finally arrived in North America to attempt to live up to his lofty ranking

With names like Jonathan Drouin, Aleksander Barkov, and Evgeny Kuznetsov included in this latest top 50, it is clearly a very talented crop either competing in or on the cusp of playing in the NHL. “
