Texas, USA – The leading disc golf production company, JomezPro, came to be when Jonathan Gomez began his career in videography. The company’s founder has had a love for filming since high school when he began to film his friends performing skateboard tricks. This passion for capturing footage only grew once he entered college. While in college, Gomez disliked the lack of creativity in his classes and felt didn’t feel a sense of accomplishment in schoolwork.
After he graduated from Angelo State University, Gomez continued to skate while also landing a job as a night news camera operator for a local TV station. He later made his way up to producer. Yet, Gomez was still not satisfied with his work. He later moved to a different TV production studio where he performed the creative work behind the network’s broadcasts.
Later he began filming weddings and local sports competitions. During this time his brother suggested that he film a disc golf tournament. After posting disc golf tournament footage he captured, Gomez quickly acquired views and developed an online fan base. In response he started JomezPro, a media company that quickly became the leader of disc golf video coverage. Since 2012, the company has grown exponentially from posting a few videos to documenting annual tours and international tournaments.
Currently, the company is in high demand by professional and amateur players alike. The company remains the leading disc golf coverage crew and has played a key role in the growth of the sport. The company’s guaranteed twenty-four hour turnaround has played a large part in their success. Their disc golf videos are posted promptly and consistently, and continue to gain popularity on YouTube.

As a college student with a dream for much more than excelling in school, Jonathan Gomez never imagined he could build a production company based on his love for video production and disc golf.
