John Hartwell Cocke has been practicing law since 1975, and founded Merkel & Cocke, P.A. in 1982. Mr. Cocke now devotes his practice to plaintiffs’ medical malpractice and personal injury cases, and he has developed a reputation for prevailing in complex birth injury cases. Mr. Cocke has several representative cases, and is a member of the Mississippi Association for Justice and the American Bar Association. He has received the AV Preeminent® rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, and been selected to Super Lawyers from 2006 to the present.
