The Invictus Foundation of Elk Grove, California announces its first annual Invictus Foundation Champions golf classic fundraiser on Monday, October 20,2014 at the Sierra View Country Club in Roseville, California. It is a benefit for today’s youth, tomorrow’s leaders.

The event is a fundraiser to help reduce expenses for at-risk 7 t o 16 year old boys and girls from the greater Sacramento area. Through the medium of sports, kids learn the fundamentals of a given sport and how to play well, but also incorporated into this medium is being a good student.( Individual grades are checked before each weekly practice). The participants must also have the desire to “do the right thing”, maintain good punctuality, maintain a positive attitude, and display other demonstrations of positive life experiences. The Invictus foundation has the kids participate in “college visioning” activities revolving around football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, rugby and other sports.

“The goal is to impact as many youth as possible” says Viliami Tuivai CEO of the Invictus Foundation. “The money that is  raised from the golf tournament will help kids learn skills and give them self confidence on becoming leaders and the necessary steps of getting ready for college.”

The Invictus Foundation will escort kids in these programs to local colleges, such as Sac. State, U.C. Davis, UOP, San Jose State, Cal, and Stanford. There, they will see that they too can become one of many in the diversified campus community .The foundation also instills positive attitude as a step in getting to these fine institutions along as staying with each participant during this journey.

A $1,000.00 tax-deductible donation will enable each participating organization  to have four golfers and two carts,  company signage at a hole,  company recognized at the registration table,  company listed in the program, and company logo on the website.
