Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain – Spanish brand Rewinder, formerly Quiquere Bags, is pleased to announce the release of its new Rewinder40 mask. Organic, antibacterial, water-repellent, washable up to forty times and biodegradable, the mask has a double layer that repels liquids in and out. Made from 100% organic cotton, the Rewinder40 is comfortable to wear and is even machine washable.The company’s main objective is to contribute to a new global behavior by eliminating single-use materials, and so far it seems to be achieving its goal. Since the Rewinder40 mask was launched, 65,000 units have been sold, saving the disposal of almost 2,500,000 single-use masks.

Rodríguez explains that Rewinder has been hard at work since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to find ways to help in the fight against the spread of the virus. With a focus on personal safety, care for the environmental, and the revival of the local economy, the team finally came up with Rewinder40, which offers the user a higher degree of safety than any disposable mask on the market. With great filtering power and the ability to repel 100% of all types of liquids, the Rewinder40 is approved by ITEL and certified of European Conformity (CE) for families, companies and industries.
Additionally, Rewinder has committed to donate 5% of its profits to the Red Cross and SOS Children's Villages, which will receive a total of 6,000 Rewinder masks, ultimately preventing the use of 240,000 disposable masks.
