MarCom Awards today announced winners for the 2013 international awards competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Honored this year, edgefactory OMNIMEDIA, a leading media and 2013 EMMY award winning production house based in Orlando, Florida, received multiple awards of recognition for its outstanding creative achievement in video marketing and communication.With over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries, edgefactory OMNIMEDIA, and Orlando video production company received top honors. The 2013 recognition includes; Platinum Award for "Transform Your Science" a theatrical showcase of technology for Thermo Fisher Scientific CMD, brings to life the innovations and applications of their ground-breaking product; Gold Award for "Quality Sign Design" an infographic, which illustrates the ease and convenience of designing and ordering custom signage online; "Florida's Fast 50" a comprehensive awards show, media package, produced for the Orlando Business Journal annual event; and an Honorable Mention for "Charlie Chromeleon" for Digital Video Creation/Animation, a fully realized animated character used to promote the ground-breaking chromatography technology at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievements by marketing and communication professionals. Entries come from corporate marketing and communications departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, and production companies. Winners include media conglomerates to Fortune 500 companies. The competition is so well respected in the industry that national public relations organizations, communications firms and some of the largest Ad agencies and production companies in the world are entrants.
The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals.
