— Mesa, AZ (August 27, 2017) – Dr. Thomas Lodi is changing lives for people with cancer in Asia.
The renowned oncologist and founder of Arizona’s integrative cancer therapies center An Oasis of Healing is expanding into Thailand, where he is spearheading the program and training doctors in ACEIS Life in Bangkok and The LifeCo in Phuket. Both centers offer integrative oncology treatment for cancer patients.
Integrative oncology is an emerging and influential field of study and clinical application which brings together various scientifically backed healing disciplines. It integrates these techniques into a complex and unified system that effectively addresses health restoration for people with cancer.
For over 1,000 patients helped by Dr. Lodi and his team at Arizona-based An Oasis of Healing, this simply means a new lease in life.
“The ‘military approach’ of going to war against cancer does not work because cancer is clever and cunning, and it can adapt and become resistant,” Dr. Lodi explained. “This is why our alternative cancer treatment program focuses on fighting the cancer cells, minus the poisons that further weaken patients, so the body can restore its healing capacity and powerful immune system.”
Dr. Thomas Lodi’s path to becoming a pioneer in integrative oncology and metabolic medicine began with a spiritual awakening in India during his younger years, where he discovered the powerful connection between nature and the human experience. Returning to the U.S., he sought to complete his training by attending medical school.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Hawaii in 1985, and went on to gain additional training and certifications. He has been a certified nutrition specialist since 2002, and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and Cancer Control Society USA, among other respected professional organizations. He was also the chief physician at Hawaii’s Department of Public Safety Ambulatory Medical Care and medical director at Resort Medical Centers International at Las Vegas, Nevada.
Currently, Dr. Lodi sits as a clinical chair for the American University of Integrative Sciences’ School of Medicine and the medical advisory board of the Elka Best Cancer Foundation.
At An Oasis of Healing, which recently marked its 12th year in the cancer care industry, Dr. Lodi empowers people who have been failed by conventional treatments. The center offers holistic and customized programs designed to keep the cancer away in a manner that is kind and gentle to the body.
As he expands to Asia, starting with two full-service centers in Thailand, Dr. Lodi is bent on a simple and straightforward mission—to help and educate more people in restore health and heal from cancer.
“With so much advancement in medical technology, we often forget how potent our bodies are, even against an enemy like cancer,” he said. “My mission is to help people tap into that power and harness it to overcome and prevent cancer. We’ve already helped over a thousand people here in the U.S. I look forward to doing the same for more people in other parts of the world.”
