With dine-in restaurants shifting to carryout and delivery these days, some people are concerned about food safety issues.According to KSAT-TV in San Antonio, Texas, there are several safety steps people should take to minimize the risk of health issues from food they pick up or have delivered by restaurants.
Among the suggestions are paying ahead of time, including the tip, to avoid contact with the delivery person. Another is immediately removing food from its containers, throwing the containers away and washing hands thoroughly.
