New York City-based I Can Still Do That Foundation will host their seasonal First Mondays event to officially launch the Foundation's Senior Business Directory on April 1st, 2019 from 6:00- 9:00 PM at GossipBar at 733 Ninth Avenue, Manhattan.

The I Can Still Do That Foundation specializes in Intergenerational Networking and is partnering with several nonprofits and for-profit organizations for the launch of the Senior Business Directory. Amazing.Community and Next Gen, in partnership with The I Can Still Do That Foundation, are launching the Directory to foster a new community that can help facilitate creation of intergenerational opportunities. The Senior Business Directory seeks to establish innovative and disruptive new companies as well as co-working and co-living incubators and arrangements in the future.

According to the Foundation's Executive Director, Dan Schneider, "24.3 percent of all new entrepreneurs are between 55-to-64 years old and Baby Boomers are nearly twice as likely to plan to launch businesses than their millennial counterparts. Senior entrepreneurs have a success rate of twice that of general entrepreneurs based on their experience, access to capital, credit and other senior entrepreneurs. We hope to create an intergenerational eco-system to support and connect entrepreneurs of all generations."

Leslie Faerstein, Executive Director of amazing.community, says: "We are proud to be one of the early participants in the Senior Business Directory and to partner with the I Can Still Do That Foundation. Amazing.community's mission is to expand the work horizon for women 50+ and to this end, we are supporting the opportunity for all our members and organizational partners to be part of the Senior Business Directory.

At the First Mondays event on February 4th The Senior Business Directory has set a goal to register 10,000 intergenerational businesses that support Senior Entrepreneurship by the end of 2019. The Foundation encourages everyone to register on behalf of their own businesses or encourage friends and colleagues to do the same. Advisors will be on hand at First Mondays to help interested entrepreneurs register online for the Senior Business Directory.
