Flood’s brand-new three-story office building located at 2019 Washington Ave. has move-in ready space available in the Old Sixth Ward. Designed by Element Architects and minutes from Downtown, the exceptional site sits on an 11,604-sq.-ft. triangle that slims down to 17’ on one end.
The land came with a vintage car sales sign–Lee Wright’s Top Quality Automobiles–that Flood restored bearing the name of his law firm with the original lights. The three-story structure boasts Class A finishes, a rooftop patio, and space for a future ground-level cafe. First-floor retail space is build-to-suit with individual executive office spaces available at the upper levels while Flood’s offices will occupy the second floor.
“It has been four years since we closed on 2019 Washington,” Flood said. “It is great not only for our firm to have a new home, but also to revitalize what used to be a vacant lot with our vision.”
Taking into consideration the natural space and surrounding areas, the design turns the parking area into a green space by utilizing a honeycomb support base underneath. This allows grass to grow underneath the support structure while also allowing vehicles to park and not tear up the ground underneath. “I am trying to keep it as green as possible for the neighborhood,” Flood said.
All office spaces come with internet, copy machines and phones included. Furniture is also available upon request.
