Independent Property Inspections is celebrating their 20th Anniversary, which commemorates twenty amazing years in business. This is a huge milestone for the Hobart based Commercial real estate inspector and Building Inspections business, which has provided Building Inspection Reports to Building, Property and Home Buyers in Hobart since 1999.
Independent Property Inspections got it’s start in 1999 when founder Leon Cupit saw an opportunity in the pre-purchase building and property inspection reporting niche. No-one was offering same day service turnaround for pre-sale building inspection reports in Hobart or any other Australian city for that matter.
One of the earliest challenges Independent Property Inspections faced was how best to compete on price against cowboy, competitor inspection businesses who were unqualified, inexperienced, and even uninsured.
While every business of course faces challenges, some, like Independent Property Inspections are fortunate enough to enjoy real successes, wins and victories too. Once such victory came when we became the only inspectors in Australia authorised to deliver the “5 Star Condition Rating” which provides indication of how good a property is when compared to other properties of similar age that have been reasonably maintained.
