Some of the changes in office visits are as follows:
• The office will contact patients prior to appointments to ask a few safety screening questions. Once in the office the questions will be asked again.
• The staff will ask patients to use the provided hand sanitizer when they enter the office. There will also be hand sanitizer throughout the office for patients as needed.
• Things such as magazines and refreshments will not be offered. These items are difficult to clean and sanitize.
• Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This might mean that there are fewer options for scheduling appointments.
• The office will do its best to allow greater time between patients to help reduce wait times. This will also reduce the number of patients in office at any one time, ensuring further protection for a safe visit.
