Birds on the Brink Sanctuary has officially opened, giving a new safe space for endangered birds and giving them somewhere they can live out their lives. Through the new Birds on the Brink website, bird lovers can donate to help ensure the birds are well looked after and have the best care to live in as natural of habitat as possible.

Located in Harlem, Georgia, Birds on the Brink is a fun and forever home for birds and other animals who are endangered or on the threatened list. The birds are looked after by trained specialists, who take care of the unique and special needs of each individual animal.
Each bird comes to the sanctuary to be looked after and have a safe space to live. They will never be adopted out, and will get to enjoy their life in specially designed spaces that aim to replicate their natural habitat.
One of the key features of the sanctuary is its new bird flight area. This is a huge 20-foot-by-40-foot endangered species flight, which is the first of two planned to ensure the birds have plenty of space to enjoy and stretch their wings.
On the new Birds on the Brink site, visitors will be able to check in regularly to follow the birds, get updates, and see heartwarming stories about their daily antics. Visitors will also be able to stay up to date on the ways they can help on an ongoing basis.
Regular campaigns will be launched to help the birds in different ways, including the latest, which is a book called “Chocolate Matters!” This delicious chocolate recipes e-cookbook is available in PDF format, and contains 135 different recipes.
With every order, half of the proceeds goes directly to the Birds on the Brink Sanctuary, helping to provide food, shelter, toys and more for the animals.
