RCA Black Rodeo to hold it's 5th annual event featuring predominately African-American rodeo riders from across the country to showcase various riding skills and events. Along with the competitions, the show will be hosting live entertainment with Grammy nominee TANK.

/PressCable/ — The upcoming rodeo event will be held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center located at 2350 Beach Boulevard in Biloxi, MS 39531. Show starts at 7:30 pm on Saturday, July 26th. This will be the fifth annual event for the Gulf Coast Black Rodeo and this year's event will be featuring live, top R&B music artist TANK. There will be several hundred African-American riders displaying their skills across various sporting categories along with other types of entertainment for the whole family. Founder and CEO Frank Penny Edwards has stated that this event will be, “The Baddest Show on Dirt”. Frank Edwards met his first black cowboy in his twenties and years later decided to start the Real Cowboy Association (RCA) to break the stereotype that rodeo riders were all white. The RCA was first established in 1981 and holds events across the USA. Although the association has a diversification of ethnic races and the events accommodate for anyone to enter, the shows participants are predominately African-American cowboys and cowgirls. The purpose of the association is to entertain the audience as well as educate the public that there were many black cowboys and cowgirls in American history. The rodeo events also teach the younger generation the importance of caring for animals.Mississippi Gulf Coast overlooks the Gulf of Mexico that stretches out to 62 miles of beautiful coastline. The coliseum is nestled right along this coastline and there is beach access nearby along with a large selection of restaurants and local shops to pass time before or after the event. Other activities include golfing, gaming, water sports, and sport fishing. Purchasing tickets to the RCA Black Rodeo ahead of time will eliminate the risk of attending the event and discovering that it's sold out and also will help save some money, as tickets are cheaper before the event, than buying them on the day of the event.
