GroupSense Expands Internationally with Strategic Acquisition of BitCrime

Following its acquisition of BitCrime, GroupSense recently launched BreachRecon, a service that alerts citizens and organizations when their emails, passwords, and other personally identifiable information are exposed online via data breaches. BitCrime’s president, Nikolay Danev, has joined GroupSense as vice president, EMEA.


GroupSense, a leading provider of cyber intelligence services, announced their acquisition of European cyber research and development firm, BitCrime Ltd. With this acquisition, GroupSense extends its footprint into the EU. This is instrumental in supporting GroupSense’s international clients and bolstering GroupSense’s TraceLight intelligence platform capabilities.


BitCrime’s extensive research capabilities, technology, and database of over 7.2 billion compromised credentials will accelerate innovation, research, and new services offered by GroupSense. Fueled by the BitCrime capabilities, GroupSense recently launched BreachRecon, a service that alerts citizens and organizations when their emails, passwords, and other personally identifiable information are exposed online via data breaches. Further, BitCrime’s dark net platform and attribution technology will be rolled into the GroupSense technology portfolio.
