A longstanding fixture in Lancaster County and the surrounding communities has reached a milepost in its time line. Steve Rohrbaugh of Greenview Bible Camp recently announced the launch of the ministry's new interactive website. Found at www.greenviewbiblecamp.org, the site offers a number of features focusing on services and activities available through the camp and its facilities.In regard to this occasion, Rohrbaugh affirmed, "From the beginning, our vision has been to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with young people and to challenge and assist them as they grow in the Lord. Over the years, we've branched out to offer our facilities to local churches, organizations and private groups for their own camps, retreats and events. Our new website is designed to provide information on summer camps, overnight retreats and facility rentals as well as other services we offer while allowing the public to submit inquiries and requests to our staff."
Established in 1959, Greenview Bible Camp is a non-denominational ministry having served both churches and the general public for more than 50 years. All-inclusive summer camp programs for elementary and middle school children as well as day camps for grades kindergarten through six are available through the ministry. Specialty camps centered on soccer, basketball, horses and other interests are likewise offered.
Facilities available for rental include the Cedar Lodge and Sensenig Activity Center. Greenview Bible Camps extends the use of its Cedar Lodge, Glory Hall and Frontier Village to visitors with various christian retreat center packages listed on the new website. Further information about games and activities offered for campers and events is additionally provided, as is pricing for camps, rentals and other alternatives. Concluded Rohrbaugh, "We offer a broad range of summer camp options and have partnered with a number of organizations, including Release Time, Crossfire Ministries, Lancaster County Christian School, the Police Athletic League from Lancaster and an Inner City Word of Life Club from Reading.
