The restaurant is a family affair, owned by Jim and his wife Penney. In addition to the recent “Best of the North State” award for Gironda’s, the restaurant has also received nearly every accolade possible for a restaurant in the area including: a Best Redding Restaurants award, a Redding’s Best acknowledgment and a place on the Redding Reviews Top 10 Places to Eat.

According to Gironda’s they are best known for their real authentic Italian food, Chicago deep dish and new thin crust gluten free pizza. Dinner favorites include: a full seven different kinds of ravioli, their shrimp for sea food lovers, classic chicken piccata, prime rib, tuscan steak, and steamer clams. For guests who’d like a small bite at the bar, after 4 PM economy priced small dishes are available at the bar only.
