Garrett Mechanical Completes Two More Landmark Projects for Texas A&M

Share this news:

Bryan, Texas - Garrett Mechanical, Inc. continues its unprecedented record of completing work on budget and on time. The company has never failed to do so since its founding in 1988. That is quite an accomplishment for any mechanical contractor, but Garrett Mechanical's success record is even more impressive considering the size and scope of their projects that include major hospitals, university buildings, and the George Bush Presidential Library. Now the award-winning company can add two new landmark projects to its impressive portfolio.

Garrett Mechanical recently completed The Thomas G. Hildebrand, DVM '56 Equine Complex at Texas A&M University. The facility is home to the multiple National Championship winning Aggie equestrian team. The complex, which opened on April 30, is part of Texas A&M's $80 million initiative to establish a world-class center for equine education and research. Garrett Mechanical acted as the design build contractor for the Equine Complex, working alongside mechanical engineering firm DBR, Inc.

As a corporation with over 250 professional employees, Garrett Mechanical is able to manage multiple efforts. While the new Equine Complex is enjoying its first days of use, the mechanical contractor is putting the final touches on another building for the Aggies. The West Campus Strength and Conditioning Building is part of the $450 million Kyle Field redevelopment. The facility will be completed this month and will provide a training center for Texas A&M's non-football sports.

These are not the first projects Garrett Mechanical has been part of at Texas A&M. The company has served as a mechanical contractor for other university buildings in the past. Garrett Mechanical is proud of its reputation as a contractor with the ability to effectively serve the biggest customers including universities like Texas A&M.

Garrett Mechanical, Inc. combines years of experience working on complex projects with expertise in every area of mechanical contracting. The company does HVAC systems, plumbing, piping, sheet metal, concrete, and general contracting tasks. In fact, Garrett Mechanical has its own General Contracting division. This organizational unity combined with a diversity of skills contributes to the company's remarkable ability to consistently accomplish the goals set by customers with major projects.

Garrett Mechanical does more than merely manage. Company Vice-President Larry Garrett explains, “The more technical the project, the better we are.” Garrett Mechanical backs up this claim with its success at Texas A&M.
