Business owners, social cause supporters, donors, and volunteers are invited to attend the Sanctuary Community Church Red Carpet 2014 Annual Gala on October 11, 2014, at the Manatee Performing Arts Center, beginning at 6PM. Admission is free with an RSVP.
The Sanctuary Community Church is sponsoring this year’s event, which will raise funds and celebrate the area’s work for families in crisis, including: teen parenting, fatherhood initiatives, at risk youth, pregnancy prevention, drop out prevention, counseling, and marriage and family services. The Sanctuary Community Church works hand-in-hand with state and county agencies to provide support to families in need. Often these agencies are understaffed or don’t have the required resources. The Church helps by purchasing food, clothing, and children’s products, and delivering them directly to those who need it, and by putting on classes to educate teens and other family members on important family issues.
When asked about the reasons behind creating this event, Pastor Alexandra Zanon, President and Founder of the Sanctuary Community Church, said: “Every life we touch leaves a legacy of hope for our future, and we really need the community’s generous support to continue our work”.
“We’ll also have a little fun at this event that will include food, cocktails, gifts, raffles, a silent auction, music and dancing. We’d also like for those who can’t make the event, but who want to donate their time or money to give us a call at 941 807 6500, and we’ll be happy to talk with you. All donors will have the satisfaction of knowing that their generosity is well used to support family causes here in southwest Florida”
