The highly popular Chicago, Illinois barber shop Final Cuts Hair Design hosted their second annual “Back to School” haircut event with its renowned team of professional barbers donating free haircuts and handing out backpacks with school supplies for kids aged 5-13.

The barbershop hosted its second annual ‘Back to School’ event, on the 28th of August 2016, to unite the barber community on the northwest side of Chicago with hardworking families in the area, which included its own team of professional barbers donating their time and over 100 free haircuts for kids aged 5-13, who also received more than 200 backpacks with school supplies.
The unique Final Cuts Hair Design ‘Back to School’ event welcomed over 200 guests and included multiple donations or volunteer participation by several of the barbershop’s clients and other local community members or businesses who provided food, music, prizes for a raffle, a jumping house, an Icee machine, and more.

Final Cuts Hair Design’s Omar Sanchez explains that “Our goal with this event was to unite the barber community on the northwest side of Chicago with many hardworking yet struggling families. We were able to provide close to 100 haircuts and over 200 backpacks with school supplies included.
