Footballiser, is a board game which lets you conquer the world of football as a team leader, club owner and a football player. This game lets you not only use your strategic skills alongside your dexterity, but also makes you apply both if you want to win The Cup.
You get to build your stadium and develop your team with the help of Team and Stadium Development Items, Action Cards and Power Cards. At the same time, play matches on the board with the help of the Football player figures, and Match Cards that portray certain situations on the field.
The board contains 120 numbered fields onto which you can place a maximum of five attacking players and five defending players. The game includes fifty Match Cards that all contain situations of the one of four different difficulty levels in which you have to do well and score a goal in order to move ahead on your journey to the win. Difficulty levels correspond to the number of passes you have to make before shooting on the goal.
Power Card and Action Cards provide your opponents opportunities to either take interest in your win by betting on the game, or in your loss by not only betting against you, but also actively pulling you back on other aspects of development, making it harder for you to score and proceed.
Pricing and Availability
Footballiser is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by April 2021. The starting price for one Footballiser game is $70 USD.
