HealerTech Inc is pioneering a technology brand new to the world of virtual reality (VR). Not only does the FlexR allow you to immerse in the world of VR, it allows you to control the character with your body’s muscle function.The company’s founder Li “Ricky” Ge, a doctor of physical therapy invented the FlexR to assist with patients’ recovery. His dream of helping his patients has since led him to creating technology that the general public can use to stay fit and rehab in a fun, interactive way.
Unlike most physical therapy technology, FlexR is portable. It fits in the palm of your hand. It is user-friendly, and most importantly affordable. FlexR was also designed with an open-sourced API platform, meaning anyone can write and develop their own apps to pair with the technology.
“Virtual reality is where I’ve placed my bet about the future going,” said Chief Technology Officer of Occulus, John Carmack. “At this point, I could say it’s almost a lock. And it’s going to be magical.”
