Fix Body Group Supports a Charity Urban Street Angels, Inc.

San Diego, CA United States - March 22, 2019 —

One of the most renowned and long-lasting chiropractic and rehabilitation organizations has worked closely with a local non-profit Urban Street Angels, fittingly acronymed USA to combat the problem of homelessness in the area.

The organization is looking to help at-risk youths take back the reins of their lives. They do this through their three programs. The first program is an overnight shelter which targets young people aged 18-25 in North Park on Tuesday nights and in El Cajon on Thursday nights. Their second program is supporting housing project done with the County of San Diego as a partner for up to 35 young people. Finally, the third project is a startup company which is aimed at providing training and temporary employment for people involved in the housing programs.

“Giving back to the community is important if you can. We are in a position to contribute to our neighbors and this organization has a very noble goal – to give young people who may have lost their way a chance to get back on the right path,” said Shawn Robek, Doctor of Chiropractic and Clinical Director at Fix Body Group. He continued: “That is why I am on the board of directors in the organization. However, we wanted to do more, which is why we have also implemented a donation button onto our Fix Body Group website so that good-hearted people can help raise money for these incredibly important projects.”
