Favorite Autumn Activities Reach New Heights at Refreshing Mountain

New for Autumn 2019, guests can play zipline cornhole and zipline pumpkin smashing! If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to drop a pumpkin to a target below from 30+ feet in the air, or if you want to test your cornhole aim while soaring through the sky, look no further than Refreshing Mountain in Lancaster County.

“Ziplining is always a blast,” says Justin Harnish, Director at Refreshing Mountain. “This year we’re combining it with some of our favorite Autumn activities - corn hole and pumpkin tossing!”

Beginning Thursday, September 12, guests can choose cornhole and ziplines on the Flying V ziplines for $29 per person, or pumpkin smashing and ziplines for $79 per person. A 15% discount is offered Monday through Friday.

“Guests can soar on our Flying V ziplines and drop beanbags to oversized cornhole boards below. Or, ramp up to our Aerial Excursion Tour and ride 7 ziplines while tossing pumpkins to targets on the forest floor. Make a game of it, challenge your friends and family,” notes Harnish. Guests can win prizes throughout the season, and enjoy seasonal snacks and food in the cafe. Harnish adds, “if ziplining isn’t your thing, we’ll have plenty of other activities ‘on the ground’ to enjoy.”

In addition to ziplines, Refreshing Mountain offers activities for all ages including a climbing tower, giant swing, pedal carts, an elevated obstacle course, wildlife center, and more. For guests wanting to stay overnight, fully appointed cabins are available and can sleep up to 8 guests.
