Renowned storyboard artist writes and illustrates sophisticated work that asks readers to face the truth about a city’s secrets
Famous Frames, the agency that represents artists for storyboards, comp art, illustration and animatics, today announced that Alex Lanier, one of its artists, has published “The Hidden Dimensions,” a graphic novel. The book tells a sensational story, the first installment of a trilogy about government greed to the max and how it backfires horribly.—
“This book is really a tremendous showcase for Alex’s talent,” said a spokesperson for Famous Frames. “We’re extremely proud of his achievement.”
“The Hidden Dimensions” asks the reader to question if their city might harbor disturbing hidden secrets from the past—and if those things were still going on today. And, it prompts the reader to ask, “What if you were confronted with the truth and had no choice but to face it or die?” The graphic novel, written and illustrated by Lanier, answers these questions through the story of a hilarious and fun-loving family. In the story, they discover a government secret which is deeply embedded in their quiet City of Little Hill. What follows can only be described as hidden pandemonium!
Lanier’s extensive professional portfolio includes work for such clients as Vicks, Honda and Pepsi. He has worked in architectural formats as well as concept environments, character/creatures, events and displays and set rendering. He also has done medical illustration work.
