Daryll Triplett, an entertainer and Ex-Police Officer, who presents performances showcasing tales of “comedy meets life.” He puts a new perspective on some of the most unbelievable and entertaining encounters he’s had in his role as a Police Officer over the last 25 years.Daryll Triplett hails from Columbus, Ohio. His interest in the entertainment industry started at a young age. Daryll has always enjoyed entertaining and making people laugh. Although he had a talent for it, he never took it seriously until he started his career as a Police Officer.
Daryll gets inspiration from his family and the experiences he gained from being an officer of the law. He credits the Lord, his family, and extensive law enforcement career for his acting and comedic talents. Daryll also firmly believes in giving back to the community. He currently works with the “All Power in His Hands Haitian Christian Mission” to bring awareness to the predicament of the most impoverished nation in the Western Hemisphere, Haiti. Daryll’s talent doesn’t stop at just being a funnyman he has quite the reputation as a stern businessman. Starting his first security business in Ohio at the age of 22 years old and growing to over 325 guard and 2.5 million dollars in revenue, Daryll quickly became a force to be reckoned with, within the security community. Despite some setbacks and rough bumps in the road Daryll did not stop. He found a way to persevered and overcame changes, knowing that he was Destin for greatness he went on to own his own car dealership, towing companies, and currently Daryll and his wife’s own and operates Hair 911, Inc. a hairline distribution company that supplies hair to the biggest retailer in the world. Daryll couldn’t stop there with his sights set on bigger and better things Daryll went on to make his mark and started VH2 Networks, Inc. a television station which can be found on Roku, which has over 60 million subscribers and on Atlanta Channel 40.3 which covers all of 4 million households in the metro Atlanta area. This station is home to some of the best independent films, comedy and reality TV in the market.
As if that isn’t enough, Daryll can be found hosting the show, “Real Talk With Officer Keep It Real”, which addresses and follows real life situation but only the way that Officer Keep It Real can. Shooting straight from the hip this officer does not care who he hits with the truth!
Also, Daryll pulls a great wealth of perspective and some of the most entertaining and unbelievable tales of “comedy meets life” tales in his role as a Police Officer over the last 25 years. Experiences that is impossible to gain unless you’ve lived the life of being a cop on the front seat of life like Daryll has.
This crazy Cop pulls inspiration from his family and specifically his wife of 10 years Lisa. Daryll has a blended family of 10 children ranging from the ages of 16-29 years old. Which makes for a great Reality TV show, right? Well you probably guessed it, he has one called “Meet The Triplett’s” which surrounds the Triplett’s with their10 children, several businesses, home schooling the children, and Daryll being a 25 year police veteran it's safe to say, life gets a little crazy in the Triplett's house!
At the age of 48 Daryll doesn't know if he is “over the hill” to express his self creatively as a comedian and is now training and prepping for his big comedy show December 29, 2018 @ 6pm at the Earl Strand Theatre Located at 117 N Park Square, Marietta, GA 30060.
Daryll currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and enjoys bowling, tennis and swimming with his family.
