EncrypGen is poised to introduce MyGene-Chain and establish a Genomics Blockchain Consortium in London, at the Festival of Genomics (FoG) on January 30th, And Much More!

EncrypGen, Inc., Founder, David Koepsell, PhD, published a book 10 years ago, “Who Own You?” that proved to be the foundation for what EncrypGen would become, an industry leader in creating a global genomic data blockchain network, Gene-Chain. His book ignited the movement that went all the way to the US Supreme Court, to reaffirm consumers, in fact, own and control the use of their genomic data.

Since EncrypGen’s formation in 2016, others have started to enter into the same space, “Competition is good. It not only proves validity of our concept, it will eventually provide consumers absolute control of their data and more opportunities make use of and potentially monetize its worth, within a world-wide genomic research community,” said Dr. Koepsell.

The Festival of Genomics is organized by Front Line Genomics, London, who’s aim is to bring the benefits of genomics to patients faster by supporting scientists, clinicians, business/research leaders and officials.

Unlike many industry trade shows, this one is FREE for visitors to register (festivalofgenomicslondon.com). Those who can make it to the ExCel, on January 30 & 31, 2018, will be able to witness some of the latest developments with The EncrypGen Gene-Chain, and mingle with other Genomic industry leaders. The FoG will empower consumers and industry professionals in drug development, healthcare, patient & academic organizations, to define the future of genomics in human health and disease. Two days, packed full of insights and inspiration to shape ideas, challenge perceptions and foster collaboration.

In addition hosting a both on the exhibition floor at FoG, (Booth B8), EncrypGen’s CTO, Dr. Notis Gasparis and CMO Richard Taylor, will host a Gene-Chain product demonstration in the ‘Live Lounge’ at 1230 and CEO, Dr. David Koepsell, will keynote “Lawyers, Genes and Money” on ‘Stage 2’ at 1400. Dr. Koepsell will cover hot industry topics that will include, ‘How blockchains can revolutionize Genomics (and other ‘omics).’

Dr. Koepsell, will also be meeting with several industry leaders during the show and reaching out to all newcomers in the genomic blockchain market, to come together for consumer rights and acceleration of advancement in genomics data use. In a recent blog post and open letter, Dr. Koepsell, cites past industry competition that inhibited advancement and where the consumer lost as a way to ignite collaboration in the development of a true global, Genomic Blockchain Consortium. This visionary and bold initiative has been well received by key industry players thus far and holds great promise for all those willing to champion this critical initiative.
