Boardroom App Now Compatible with iOS7.

After months of development, Effacts has released a brand new version of their Boardroom App. The app, which serves as their meeting management solution for Apple's iPad, is now compatible with iOS7. Current users of the Boardroom App can automatically download the new software and install it onto their iPads.

The Boardroom App is primarily designed to improve meeting efficiency by increasing organization and creating a clear agenda for everyone to follow. More than just a regular update, Effacts made several improvements over their previous Boardroom App. These include:

- iOS 7+ compatibility
- A redesigned look that conforms to iOS 7 guidelines
- Ability to designate various documents as read or unread
- Typewriter annotations
- Page numbers on PDF documents
- Improved backup functionality
- Cloud backup for annotations
- Ability to export PDFs for compatibility
- Better workflow
- Better overview of all items, particularly annotations, agenda items, and documents
- Several minor visual changes, including a difference between the Boardroom and the online back office

As with any new legal management software release, the team at Effacts remains aware that some clients may need additional help with the transition. To accommodate this, Effacts offers a 24/7 support desk to all customers.

Effacts was founded by Harm Bavinck, a legal counsel, and Michiel Mosterd, an IT specialist. Together, the two shared the desire to create and develop a legal management software suitable for widespread use. After the initial development phase, the project quickly rose through the ranks to become an industry later. Today, Effacts legal management software can be found in over twenty five different countries, and the customer base is well over the one thousand user mark. In addition, the company recently opened a second office in Palo Alto, California, to work with the original office in Amsterdam. Today, clients include such distinguished companies as T-Mobile, Maxeda, Binck, Bluewater, Nutreco, and Phillip Morris, among others.

The software, designed for legal process outsourcing, is available at a variety of price points in order to fit different business needs. Effacts offers a subscription based model, with customers and clients paying an annual fee depending on their requirements. Larger businesses also can opt for a custom solution designed for their specific business needs.

The leaders at Effacts credit their commitment to core values for their success. The first of those values is ensuring a positive experience for every customer and client, no matter what size. The second value is the prioritization of innovation; new developments are always taken seriously and looked at for their ability to help Effacts improve software. Finally, the third value is security. Legal management software often deals with sensitive information, and as such, security must be a priority.

Once implemented, Effacts enterprise legal management increases efficiency while simultaneously lowering costs. The software offers templates for various legal proceedings, including meetings, claims, contracts, and assets. Managers can access performance indicators through one of many dashboards, and management reports are also provided.

Even with the release of their new Boardroom App, Effacts plans to stay busy over the next few months. Other plans include an optimized service desk and the expansion of the Effacts Academy.
