The newly launched experience aims to support the local Anguillan youth tennis players while providing American students with a platform for progression in the sport.

Voted as the best Caribbean island for three years in a row, Anguilla offers a range of adventurous experiences including snorkeling, kayaking, shopping, and paddle boarding, as well as exotic seafood delicacies. As of late, the island community has not suffered any impact from the current pandemic.

Students who wish to embark on the service trip will partner with the Anguilla Tennis Association to help provide island youth with summer camp sessions and equipment. Participants will be granted a total amount of 30 service hours for their work on the island, as well as an additional 20 hours for designing a personal support project before arrival.

After assisting locals, students will receive their own high-performance development at a world-class tennis camp. During their daily two-hour training, participants will learn from tennis professionals such as celebrity coach and Tennis Central CEO, Yann Auzoux.

The tennis camp also provides additional fitness support including stretching and relaxation, mental preparation, and hydration and nutrition supervision.

Participants will be hosted at the Santosha Villa Estate Anguilla, a 5-star private resort on the beach that is known to accommodate A-list celebrities.

The service trip’s price of $9,997 includes room and board, camp tuition, a 15-day membership to the Anguilla Tennis Club, transportation, 24/7 supervision, day trips, and cultural immersion activities.

Tennis Central also offers a parallel service program for parents or caregivers who wish to join the trip.

A spokesperson for the company said: “The Anguillan Tennis Association mission is to create a viable pathway for collegiate recruitment. This goal strongly aligns with Tennis Central’s desire to enhance players’ lives with opportunities through the game of tennis.”
