Tennessee-based Double Branch Farms is now offering all natural rabbit meat of the highest quality for sale online. Consumers within a two-day shipping radius of Nashville, TN can order products previously only available local customers.
“As foodies and former chefs ourselves, we realize the need for healthy farm-to-table meats that are locally sourced,” co-owner Jonathan Jones said. “Many of our customers are professional chefs or other foodies who wanted the convenience of online ordering. We built the e-commerce store to make it easy to find what you need and repeat your favorite orders.”
Rabbit meat is well known and loved among foodies and chefs alike for its delicate flavor and versatility. This tender, white meat is packed with protein and lower in sodium, fat and calories than other meats. The flavor is mild and comparable to chicken. Rabbit meat is also an environmentally friendly alternative for other meats as the environmental impact of raising rabbits is low.
“It’s our passion to treat and impress our friends and family with our healthy, hormone free products,” co-owner Chris Pitman said. “People can taste the difference in quality meats, and they can feel good knowing their food comes from a family-owned farm with high standards.”
In addition to rabbit meat, Double Branch Farms also produces several other all natural meats such as prime Wagyu Angus cross beef, Suffolk Lamb, and marbled Mangalista pork. These items are not yet available for sale online, though there are plans to expand the e-commerce store in the coming months.
Double Branch Farms is a family owned and operated farm outside of Nashville, TN among the beautiful rolling hills of College Grove. All animals are free range and natural, with no antibiotics, artificial growth stimulates, hormones or drugs.
