Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.-area serving catering company Saint Germain Catering is excitedto announce their October specials. The new specials feature greatspecial occasion and seasonal-themed foods, including menus forevents like Oktoberfest and Halloween, as well as some fall timefavorites.
Among the new specials is the“Oktoberfest Lunch Celebration.” This special includes bratwurstand chicken schnitzel served with sauerkraut, German potato cakes,and a green salad with radishes and a honey mustard dressing. It willalso be accompanied by an assortment of German breads. The“Oktoberfest Party” is another lunch offering, but designed for abigger party. The entrée features chicken schnitzel, and with itcomes German potato cakes with crème fraîche and chives. Germanpotato salad, German red cabbage and pea salad, and German darkBavarian breads and pretzels rolls come with the entree, rounding outthe meal.
German mealsaren’t the only kind served at Saint Germain Catering, however.“Our entrees are inspired by cuisines from around the world,”says Sarah Miller, Vice President of Saint Germain Catering. “Ourinternational menus are authentic, and we hire chefs with knowledgeand experience in Italian, Mexican, Latin, Mediterranean, Caribbean,Asian, and American Southern cooking.” An overview of their catering services can be seen in this video.
Among the other fall specials is “Fallis Here,” another lunch offering. This item is apple and cheddarstuffed pork loin, with squash and zucchini soufflé. Grilledradicchio orzo pasta salad and mixed field greens come on the side.
The “Halloween Costume Party” isanother much-anticipated October special. This lunch entree includesa seven layer dip with a sour cream “spider web.” It will beserved with tortilla chips, mini beef kabobs (with bloody Mary redtomato dipping sauce), mummy’s in a blanket, and deviled eggs withred bell pepper horns. It also comes with its own dessert: miniHalloween cookies and cupcakes.
