Joe Vecchio, Recording Artist name Distorted Mix, has just released and published MIX 2 to all online music stores and streaming services.
The 5 songs of MIX 2 can be listened to online everywhere from Spotify, Apple Music to Google Play and everywhere else in between as it was published through DistroKid which distributes music everywhere online.
The overall sound of Mix 2 is heavy with distorted guitars and synth bass lines. The drum beats are influenced from dance music although have a rock music sound. Joe’s vocals are anthem like and are influenced by grunge rock.
The first song, ‘Such an Inspiration’ starts out with just guitars and vocals before the bass and drums kick in. The guitar distortion is thick while the bass line is and low, complemented by some 90’s hip hop like synth melody on the high end.
The second song, ‘I’m just fine’ begins with the low dirge like bass and drums before the vocals come in sounding a bit worn out as the theme of the song lyrically is about having to repeat oneself again and again.
The third song, ‘The Edge’ is a clever odd ball of tune musically with the lyrics being about whether someone has lost their mind because it seems like they have gone over the edge.
The fourth song, ‘What a Shame’ has a colossal and expansive sound with an anthem like quality about it. The song is about the sadness that goes along with the adverse consequences people suffer from when others have it their way yet causes so many problems for all involved.
The fifth song, ‘Good Luck with That’ has been described as being like ‘dance metal dark wave’. It has a surf like quality about it somehow while remaining dark and heavy.
