Antoine Dental Center has again shown its commitment to provide first-hand help to victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, TX. The dental center is organizing a charity event dubbed “Keeping Houston Strong” on Saturday, September 30th 2017 at its premises. Previously, the center offered free emergency dental care to those in shelters.
Hurricane Harvey left a trail of devastation in Houston, TX, drawing the attention of many well-wishers from near and far. Dr. Nazari from the dental center has taken an active role in looking for ways to meet the needs of the community in a holistic manner, beyond the scope of his dental profession.
When asked why he decided to organize the event, Dr. Nazari said, “We realized that there are more ways we can touch the community members apart from offering dental care.”
“We are hoping to give the residents of Houston a reason to smile again amidst the crisis; they need to see that there is life after Harvey, and we hope this event will be a silver lining at this crucial time in their lives,” he said.
The “Keeping Houston Strong” charity event will be held at Antoine Dental Center’s parking lot and will include lots of fun activities. There will be stilt artists, lots of food, fun, music, photo booths to capture the moments and free prize giveaways to be won. Some of the giveaways include TVs and grills. Hurricane Harvey left many families with nothing to keep them going. Many of them have been depending on the supplies of well-wishers. They were displaced by the record heavy rainfall and floods that have never been witnessed in Houston’s history.
Homes were rendered uninhabitable and property worth millions of dollars was destroyed. Antoine Dental Center’s event giveaways are a way of helping residents to start over after the storm.
Dr. Nazari and the Antoine Dental Center team of experts offer preventative, restorative, orthodontic as well as cosmetic dentistry services to their clients using the latest technology and treatment options. They also offer free consultation and X-rays for new patients.
The charity event, which will be held from 2:30-4:30 pm on September 30th, 2017, is yet another demonstration of Dr. Nazari and his team’s commitment to the welfare of the community. It is hoped that such events will indeed go a long way in ‘keeping Houston strong’.
