Designer Family Dental, a highly reputed dental clinic in Delray Beach FL, is having a charity food drive event in an effort to assist the local food bank at CROS Ministries (Christians Reaching Out to Society). Dr. Robert Adami, the founder of Designer Family Dental, has served in the Delray community for many years. In the course of his work, he has come to recognize that the needs in the community go beyond dental health. Recent events, in particular Hurricane Irma, have highlighted the fact that many people in the community are not sure where their next meal will come from. He has therefore decided to partner with local charitable organizations to meet this specific need.
Dr. Adami and his team have organized a charity food drive event as part of an ongoing effort towards bringing the community together to reach out to the less fortunate members of society. At the same time, those who participate get their dental health taken care of affordably.
The dental campaign will include a free dental cleaning, examination, consultation and x-rays for all participants. Members of the community get the benefit of a dental services package for just a $39 donation to the food bank. A clear win/win situation!
Speaking about the charity food drive, Dr. Adami said, “This is an opportunity for our practice and members of our community to come together and not only enhance their dental health, but also extend a helping hand to the less fortunate among us.”
He added, “We want to extend our compassionate care beyond the walls of our dental practice. I trust this will go a long way in creating the loving, caring and healthy environment that we would strive to foster here in Delray Beach.”
Before establishing Designer Family Dental, Dr. Adami earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1988. He later did his residency in general dentistry at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, where he was both the chief resident and an instructor. He has been involved in private practice in South Florida since 1992 and founded Designer Family Dental in 2008.
He now plays an administrative role in Designer Family Dental and is fully committed to this charity food drive. He invites all residents to take part in the charity event and take charge of their dental health in a more innovative and meaningful way!
