A new cryptocurrency exchange platform, called Premiere Exchange, has been announced, and is positioning itself to become a global player in the cryptocurrency world. The announcement comes on the back of the South Korean government launching their plans for a blockchain related industry classification system, setting up an interesting landscape moving forward.

While some entrepreneurs are wary of a government classifying various activities in the crypto world, some observers point out that government regulation and oversight can help seed the acceptance of cryptocurrency and other digital assets in the everyday financial world.
Getting government recognition with its own classification system creates a more legitimate and acceptable platform for the expansion of cryptocurrencies.
Certain crypto exchanges, like Coinbase, have massive traffic already. Other exchanges launching shortly, like Premiere Exchange, are carefully working through the process for USA oversight and regulations – akin to the South Korean approval and classification system – but in an American way.
The South Korean classification system used the National Statistical Office, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Information and Communication to gather information. It also solicited opinions from over 160 institutions along with forty-three government ministries, seventeen regional municipalities as well as corporations and financial institutions.
The government classified the block-chain technology-based industrial efforts into three divisions. Each of those divisions were then divided into ten subdivisions in the Korea Standard Industry Classification (KSIC).
The subdivisions deal with vital growth areas in the block chain technology sector, and essentially deal with supply, system software development, mobile game software and application software development.
Premiere Exchange will allow clients to exchange one cryptocurrency element for another in a transparent and efficient manner across the globe. The platform will handle these exchanges seamlessly, and in a fully encrypted manner.
