D’BRIS has just launched on Indiegogo. They have brought on Funded Today to help bring their product to a wider audience and increase pledges for the duration of the campaign.About D’BRIS
D’BRIS is an environmentally friendly shoe made from repurposed or recycled materials. The idea behind the shoes is to keep the environmental footprint as small as possible without compromising style, comfort, or durability.
The first model of D’BRIS comes in two different colors - black and white or all black. If the campaign is doing well you will get to choose a third color as a stretch goal. D'BRIS fits for all genders and is available in sizes 36-46 EU (5.5-12 US).
The majority of the outer soles are made from car tires, which is complemented with a mix of natural rubber and recycled rubber scraps. The upper canvas is made from high-quality polyester yarn made from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic. Between 5-10% of this is captured directly from the oceans and beaches by local fishermen and NGOs.
On the inside, they have added cotton to increase the comfort of the shoe. The cotton is 50% recycled and the other 50% is certified organic cotton, which is the same as the laces. The insoles are made from PU, EVA, and cork, all recycled scraps from the factory. D’BRIS shoes help preserve natural resources and keep the oceans cleaner.
Pricing and Availability
D’BRIS is available to back now on Indiegogo. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by January 2021. The starting price for one D’BRIS is $105 USD.
