Sherzer & Associates will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary next year, which commemorates 40 wonderful, part of the community, growth oriented years in business. This is a huge milestone for the Daytona Beach Area-based Insurance Agency business, which has provided Insurance Agency to Home owners, renters, automobile owners, business owners, boat owners, motorcycle owners since 1979.
Sherzer & Associates got it’s start in 1979 when its founder saw an opportunity to provide insurance services in South Daytona.
One of the earliest challenges Sherzer & Associates faced was getting our message in front of the people who most needed it.
While every business of course faces challenges, some, like Sherzer & Associates are fortunate enough to enjoy real successes, wins and victories too. Once such victory came when Sherzer established itself as a community based insurance agency.
James Allender, President at Sherzer & Associates was also quoted when discussing another big win. “One of the high points of Sherzer & Associates’s history so far was that Jim got named as one of the most successful business owners under 40 and that he and his young staff has been keeping up with many of the technological advancements of the last few years, thus differentiating themselves from many other agencies through their speed of quoting and binding insurance coverage.”

Sherzer & Associates currently consists of 5 employees and has big plans for the upcoming year. One of their core objectives is to meet and capture some of the new residents of Volusia County who are moving into one of the new and beautiful developments such as Margaritaville or Mosaic in Daytona Beach or Venetian Bay in New Smyrna Beach. Sherzer serves all locations close by from South Daytona, Daytona Beach and Port Orange, but really offers its insurance services throughout the State of Florida.
