Most office workers spend their days in a cubicle, but cyber insurance giant INSUREtrust, believes the workplace does not have to be boring. In order to encourage a culture of creativity and fun, INSUREtrust has announced that it's holding a contest for the best decorated cubicles – at any of its client companies and select businesses.The contest features two categories, “Pimp My Cubicle” for best decoration overall, and “Sports Cube” specifically for sports-themed cubicles. Employees of any company INSUREtrust works with are eligible, and can enter by submitting a picture of their finished cube. A special Mystery Category will be announced before winners are declared.
Winners in each category will receive cash prizes of $250, $100 and $50 for first, second and third place. Additionally, first place winners in all categories will receive two passes to INSUREtrust's Cyber Risk Management Boot Camp conference in September.
INSUREtrust was the first insurance company to recognize the unique liabilities of internet technology, and created the first cyber insurance policies in the 1990s. Like many technology oriented companies INSUREtrust focuses on having a fun, individualistic work atmosphere. Steve Haase, INSUREtrust's president, said they want to spread the fun to other companies as well.
